Ingredients of Sev usal
- You need 3/4 cup of dry green peas.
- Prepare 1 cup of tomato puree.
- It's as required of add some coriander leaves in it.
- It's 1/2 c of boiled and mashed potato.
- It's 1 tb of green chilli paste.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of fresh coriander.
- Prepare 5-6 tbsp of oil.
- You need 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of sev coriander.
- It's 1 tsp of cumin powder.
- It's 2 tb of red chilli powder.
- It's 1 tbsp of sev usal masala.
- It's 1 tsp of garam masala.
- You need 1 tb of besan.
- You need to taste of Salt.

- You need 1 tbsp of oil.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.

- You need 1tsp of sev usal masala.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of salt.
- It's 2-3 tbp of water.

This dish is very easy to prepare for big party, picnic or little get-together. One can have sev usal as snack or a complete meal. This Sev Usal is prepared with dried green peas and some spicy and aromatic ingredients. The speciality of this Sev Usal recipe is the Tari that is prepared using lots of garlic and a tadka of red chilli powder.
Sev usal step by step
- Soak dried peas in normal water for 4-5 hours.then add it in cooker for boiling at this time we add potato,salt and pinch of turmeric powder with peas,take enough.
- Water(around 1-1/2 c)and make 4-5 whistle on mid.flame.take oil in pan when oil become hot turmeric and chili paste mix it now we add tomato puree(it you want add onion and garlic you can add along with tomato &spices..
- When oil is released from puree at this time we add boiled peas mixture mix it add enought water for boiling.after 4-5 min.our sev usal is start to boiling now we add besan(mix it with 2-3tb water)sev usal masala and garam masala again boil it for at least 15-20 min.now turn off theflame and add fresh coriander leaves..
- For tari(red chutney) add oil in a small pan,mix all spices in bowl mix it with 3tb water.when oil is hot now we add spice mixture and cook it for 1-2 min..
- Serving take sev usal in bowl add red and green chutney,chopped tomato(you can add onion also),fresh coriander and gayhiya or sev.serve hot sev usal with pav or bun.enjoy this recipe at your home..

Serving suggestion: This dish can be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Variations: If you feel the gravy is too watery, turn the InstantPot to SAUTE mode and allow to thicken for a while.
